Fourteen of the Scouts are new high school graduates selected to receive NCCS Scholarships in recognition of their exceptional leadership and service in their church, community, school and Scouting. Each of these recipients earned the Eagle Scout, Summit or Quartermaster Award and completed at least one Catholic Religious Emblem—Ad Altare Dei, Pope Pius XII or Light is Life (Eastern Rite). The fifteenth scholarship recipient was awarded the St. Katharine Drexel Continuing Education Scholarship, available only to past NCCS Scholarship winners who are continuing their college studies.
