Vincent Hlavacek from Saint Charles, Illinois, has been awarded the $4,000 Emmett J. Doerr Memorial Scout Scholarship. He belongs to St. Patrick Catholic Church in the Diocese of Rockford and is a member of Scouting America Troop 13 in the Three Fires Council.
